McCarran vs Harry Reid

Hi,

I think you are having a problem figuring out how to properly categorize the different eras of the airport. Most airport categories simply use dates (see Salt Lake City International Airport for an example). I would suggest you do likewise. Usually such a big distinction between the name isn't really necessary and I question its use here to distinguish between pre-and post-renaming. Its the same airport, just different time periods.

As far as NV 171 (the reason I'm noticing this at all), I'd suggest you leave it within the Harry Reid category, and if you really wish, you can add "McCarran International Airport in 2015" to the images I've posted in said category. Famartin (talk) 23:21, 11 May 2024 (UTC)
