Interstate 295 in Maryland vs. Interstate 295 in Virginia

[edit]

Why do you keep trying to merge categories for Interstate 295 in Maryland with categories for Interstate 295 in Virginia? They're not the same roads, so the signs for each should not be associated with one another. --DanTD (talk) 15:10, 15 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Not merging. They are road signs for I-295 in Virginia, but referring to the I-295 in Maryland. Famartin (talk) 15:33, 15 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
This wasn't meant for the I-295 in Maryland. It was meant for the one in Virginia. So, you are merging them. --DanTD (talk) 16:41, 15 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The categories you made are not specific. They just say "Road signs related to Interstate 295 in Virginia" and "Road signs for Interstate 295 along other roads in Virginia", so the signs in Alexandria area qualify since they are signs for Interstate 295 located in Virginia. In order to truly separate them, the Virginia-only segments you created all need to be renamed from "in Virginia" to "(Virginia)". That would force a separation. I thought the distinction between the two would've been enough, but I can get behind this move. ----DanTD (talk) 16:58, 15 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Cross Bronx and Bruckner Expressway route splits

[edit]

Hey, I was considering splitting segments of the Cross Bronx Expressway and Bruckner Expressway by separate Interstate highway designations too. I knew I should've done it earlier, but I'm glad you did it. --DanTD (talk) 15:25, 19 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Cool. Reason for it is I’m planning some photography up there soon. Figured I’d get ahead of it on the category side.Famartin (talk) 15:34, 19 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Wait a minute; Were you walking on the tracks when you took this picture? --DanTD (talk) 16:01, 29 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Yup. Unlike most roadgeeks, I rarely take photos from within cars or anything else. Famartin (talk) 17:28, 29 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks

[edit]

I just wanted to say a quick thank you for all the pictures of Maryland State Routes. They were interesting to look at and you did impressive work. I really appreciate it! Xavierf69 (talk) 01:22, 4 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
