EML file

PNG and exif

This page mentions that PNGs do not support exif. Is that really a problem when they (and mediawiki) support XMP, which for the most part supports all the same tags as exif does? If it really was a problem, there is a non-standard way to embed exif into PNG files we could make mediawiki support, but i would encourage uploaders to just use XMP for metadara in png files. I'd be interested to hear more about user needs in this regard. Bawolff (talk) 17:35, 12 May 2024 (UTC)
