[edit]

You are now allowed to review flickr images. Please make sure you have read all relevant instructions on Commons:Licensing, Commons:Flickr images and Flickrreview. Also, please put User trusted on your userpage. —O () 22:43, 17 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi again. I have some serious concerns about Image:US Government most-wanted Iraqi playing cards.jpg, how it came here via BetacommandBot, and how it persists here under the questionable judgement of Betacommand. You have participated in the discussion of bot status for BetacommandBot, so I'd like you to participate in the discussion of Image:US Government most-wanted Iraqi playing cards.jpg. Thanks for your prompt attention to this matter.   — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 00:06, 25 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the notice. I'll give my input. CO2 02:12, 25 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Imagen TerremotoArmenia1999.jpg

[edit]

--Juesoslo 00:23, 7 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It's ok. The image was taken from this article in English Wikipedia, it has GNU free license, so I supossed I could made that... sorry, my english isn't perfect either. --Juesoslo 00:32, 7 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I've fixed it. CO2 00:54, 8 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for fixing my mistake here. Just wondering, but how come you deleted my name as the Flickr reviewer? Nishkid64 (talk) 01:33, 7 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I have a program I use to help me, and it probably just cut out the entire section. CO2 02:08, 7 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Ah okay. No worries. Nishkid64 (talk) 03:05, 7 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, CO - I notice you reviewed the above image, but the source image at Flickr here is a completely different photo. Videmus Omnia 15:25, 8 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I removed the tag, I searched and couldn't find it in that user's upload on flickr. Tag a look, and if you can't find it we can tag it w/o a source. CO2 21:15, 8 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Dianne Reeves 2.jpg

[edit]

The photo of Dianne Reeves is a derivative work I created from a photo originally from Flickr called Dianne Reeves by Rich Moffitt originally created on June 1, 2007 and licensed on Flickr under a Creative Commons Attribution 2.0 Generic license. The license allows both commercial use and remixing. Rich Moffitt created the original photo and I created the remix which in this case is nothing more than cropping the photo. I am assuming the the original Creative Commons Attribution 2.0 Generic license is good. Do I need to provide a release for the remixing I have done? ReservoirHill 03:25, 10 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, sorry, my mistake. I've fixed it. CO2 11:51, 10 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

BTW, I'd like to clear something up; I think you're a great user; both here and at en.wiki. Your work is very much appreciated, and I respect you both as an editor and a person. I just want you to know that, no matter how many times I oppose your RfAs or criticize you, my feelings of respect and gratitude towards you have not and will not change. God bless you, Boricuæddie 17:38, 14 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Done. Actually the information was already in the Italian text, but I transalted it into English --User:G.dallorto 16:24, 22 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, CO!
Tip: Add categories to your files
Tip: Add categories to your files

Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

Thanks again for your uploads! More information about categorization can be found in Commons:Categories, and don't hesitate to leave a note on the help desk.

Bot de-flagging notification

[edit]

Hi CO, I'm writing to you because your bot HermesBot II (talk · contributions · Statistics · Recent activity · block log · User rights log · uploads · Global account information) is about to be de-flagged as a result of inactivity. If you'd like to keep that account flagged as a bot, please speak up at Commons:Bots/Requests/de-flag#Discussion; otherwise, I'll remove the bot flag from that account in a week from now (20 February 2014). Thanks for your understanding, odder (talk) 22:40, 13 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
