The Yemen Institute of Architects (YIA) is the National body of Architects in Yemen. Established in 2007, the institute today has more than 200 members and plays a major role in promoting the profession of architecture by organizing and uniting the Architects of Yemen to promote aesthetic, scientific and practical efficiency of the profession both in Practice and in Education. It is highly active in promoting Green Architecture across all the architecture institutes and collages of the country.
YIA believe that, together we can make the world a better place to live.
Since the active civil war, YIA is working hard to achieve their goals in promoting Sustainable Architecture due to power cuts and difficulties that the civilians are facing in their day to day life.
