Background
I am a Punjabi based in Patiala, Punjab. I have been a Wikimedian since 2009. I joined Wikimedia Commons in 2012 and one of my first edits was a copyright violation. I started photographing actively for Commons to fill gaps in content around photographs of people and places in Punjab. Punjabi community got a DSLR camera with a grant from the Wikimedia Foundation in 2016 and within a year I was able to add 30+ quality images, 3 valued images, and 1 Featured picture. As of 2022, I have 12 Featured pictures, 250+ quality images, and 7 valued images on Commons. |
