BenQ DC C1030 Eco

[edit]
BenQ DC C1030 Eco

Cost: $129 (RRP) but purchased for $68 (AUD)
Type: Digital camera
Comments: Photographs are ok, camera has a habit of under exposing and has very poor video recording, even though it states it records at 720 (so called HD). Common issue with the camera is the fact that it will not turn on after extended use or if its been in your pocket for more then a minute.

Pentax Optio E70L

Cost: $149 (AUD)
Type: Digital camera
Comments: Like the ES15 (I swear it is the same camera but with a different outer casing), the camera has grainy 10.2mp images, Optical zoom is very poor, the occasional zoom error, focus automatically resets to multi-zone and is temperamental. Zoom mechanism failed within 12 months.

Samsung ES15

Cost: $149 (AUD)
Type: Digital camera
Comments: Camera's zoom died after 4 months of use (Unclaimable on warranty). After purchase the camera is overrated with grainy 10.2mp images, Optical zoom is very poor, focus is only on auto and is temperamental.

K100D (Image not mine nor taken by me)

Cost: $699 (AUD)
Type: Digital SLR (Crop sensor)
Comment: Like most SLR's (Digital or film) it has dust issues, however still working 2+ years after purchase with only 6 dead pixels and has been dropped onto asphalt once.

Cost: N/A (AUD)
Type: Digital camera
Comment: Good camera but too low in resolution, colour is off but better then some others and is fixable in photo editing software, poor optical zoom.

FinePix S5200 (Image not mine nor taken by me)

Cost: N/A (AUD)
Type: Bridge digital camera
Comment: Big step up from the S3000 but still has quality issues, colours are off (too much green or red) and some times fixable in editing software, better optical zoom and better video recording.

Cost: N/A (AUD)
Type: Digital camera
Comment: Poor quality, ok optical zoom, poor video recording and colours off when taken in the day time.

Dolphin PowerCAM 2.0
