A personal template for use with my photographs and scans. This template generates an extension of the standard {{Information}} box in order to display the colour space used by the picture.

This template should be used directly below the general {{Information}} template; if we don’t add a blank line in between, the new box is visually merged with the {{Information}} box. If the standard {{Location}} or {{Location withheld}} template is also used, it should go between the other templates, i.e. the best order is {{Information}}, {{Location}}, finally this template.

For hints about the implementation, please see my credits template.

Parameters

[edit]
  1. Required: a short colour space name, e.g. sRGB or AdobeRGB.

Color space
InfoField
Colour space parameter missing! (Fortunately today most systems and applications respect colour spaces and ICC profiles. But there may still be some exceptions: outdated or misconfigured software can display wrong colours. If you see strange colours or if the picture appears flat and low in contrast, you should try another application or device for viewing it.)
