Merge with Template:Biohist[edit]
Template:Biohist and Template:Biohist/sandbox serve similar purpose to this template. I will be expanding {{Specimen}} by adding some fields from Template:Biohist/sandbox and will rewrite Template:Biohist/sandbox to use {{Specimen}} as it's basis. --Jarekt (talk) 15:19, 23 December 2015 (UTC)
Place of discovery[edit]
There is a discussion about the use of "discovery place" in this template. The displaying text in this template is "Place of discovery" which has a meaning "Place of discovery/first sighting" of a taxa. I think what here intended to mean is where it is currently observed. In that case, "place of observation", "sighted at/place" or "place of sighting", or something similar may be better. Jee 06:13, 23 January 2017 (UTC)
