Cyrano de Bergerac, a 1900 French short drama film based on Edmond Rostand's homonymous play. Directed by Clément Maurice and featuring Coquelin aîné in the title role, the film was shown at the 1900 Paris Universal Exposition. Hand colorized and synchronized to a wax cylinder recording, it is thought to be the first ever film made with both color and sound.
