English: Kṣitigarbha is a bodhisattva primarily revered in East Asian Buddhism, usually depicted as a Buddhist monk in the Orient. In China, he is known as Dìzàng Púsà (地藏菩薩 or 地藏菩萨), in Japan as Jizō (地蔵), and in Korea as Ji Jang (지장).
