Español: Crítico e idealista.

Conserva su singular estilo de componer: evolucionando de acuerdo a las circunstancias, utilizando la música como medio para expresar su visión de las cosas.

Alejandro García Villalón, mejor conocido como Virulo. Humorista. Nacido en La Habana, Cuba en 1955.

Inicia su carrera artística en 1973 en el movimiento de la Nueva Trova Cubana como miembro fundador, junto a Silvio Rodríguez, Pablo Milanés y Noel Nicola.

Virulo, abre una vertiente dentro de la Nueva Trova Cubana, explorando los caminos del humor, siendo este la esencia misma de su trabajo y la herramienta perfecta para expresar su arte, cuya línea principal es la crítica social y el cuestionamiento a la historia, expuesto en un modelo de Humorismo Intelectual.

Pero dejemos que sea el mismo quien nos cuente…

Agradecemos públicamente a Alejandro García Villalón “Virulo” por abrirnos las puertas de su hogar en México y permitirnos hacer esta maravillosa entrevista.
