This is a rough draft for a eulogy of Charles Christopher Follen, son of Charles T.C. Follen and Eliza Lee (Cabot) Follen. Chapman said: "He joined a Massachusetts battallion & afterwards underwent hardships in his country's service from which he never recovered..." The deceased was a member of the executive committee of the Massachusetts Anti-Slavery Society and "a devoted friend of William Lloyd Garrison & his associates."
