Summary[edit]

Description
English: Piano Improvising- 'Now's The Time' - Second chorus(A learnt & Exercised combination of both Ray d’Inverno & Miles Davis' Teaching version and Charlie Parker's original one):

Required by my course (Learn Jazz Piano: I. Begin with the Blues Goldsmiths, University of London ) on Future Learn platform, this sound file was hands-recorded as the second chorus of 'Now's The Time', which was named by myself (Jason M. C., Han (talk) 13:40, 17 January 2018 (UTC)) as 'Panda's Dance'. Jason, could you simply talk about your inspirations? Oh, thanks to chances on wikicommons, wikipedia and wikiversity! As I had disscused with peers on the playform of Future Learn, it followed the idea inspired by my mother - '有头小熊猫' (pronunciation: you tow thi-au thi-ong maw)and Ha -ppy pan-da head~ when she heard my play in her first vision - 'numberless panda heads all around the sky'(Referenced from comments in course 'Learn Jazz Piano...', 2017). Yes, in the second chorus, I developped it as Giant Panda's funny dance in Bamboo forest (Wikipedia introductions: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Giant_panda; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bamboo). Indeed, in Chinese language habits, we haven't quite often use 'Giant' in front of big panda. But, it was quite descriptive and lovely, I thought. Imagining, what a situation it would be when you saw a panda in a bamboo forest! 'His or her' less cares would damage some followers and grass, but you would easily forgive the cute face and the innocent behaviors. Meanwhile, what a lovely painting that a bamboo forest with some gentle breezes embracing this 'little' creature's free play from nature...! If changing the identity that you were 'him or her', in one sunny afternoon, could taking a seat beside river in the bamboo forest with your favorite food as the material of 'a big house' from the ground to the sky release all your pressures? Oh, you can also hear some Jazz & Blue ornamentations - 'pizzicato & till' (formed by three blue notes in American Blue Scale) which could be in the analogies with panda's playing of spring water, running after fish with waves or a singing bird... Furthermore, the main theme in main choruses has been developped to be a repeated pentatonic motif like giant panda's strong footsteps, which was one of my researched idea somehow showing American Blues Scale's deep pentatonic characteristics.

Thanks to your love, if...! Now's The Time to listen...
