Transcribed from photograph: "Churches. First Methodist Episcopal church. Southeast corner of Second Ave. and Columbia St. Built 1854-1855 by Henry Adams; demolished 1898. Parsonage on corner. Built 1875. First church in Seattle - the "White church." House beyond church was the Atwood house."

Steeple is clearly drawn in by hand.
