Summary

[edit]
Description
English: This sound snippet: 7 sequences of a typical military flight noise attack in the popular holiday region of Rheinsberg / Zechlin / Mecklenburg Lakes region in the north east of Germany, famous for its natural beauty and - until autumn 2013 - for its rare silence and tranquility. This snippet is of June 6th, 9.36 to 10.02 AM CEST. You will hear Eurofighter / Typhoon Jets poisoning the landscape with military aircraft noise. High altitude flight patterns blanket the area with thorough and omnipresent noise carpets. This is a typical example of what has become "normal" in the secretly established military flight zone ED-R 401 MVPA North East every day - ever since it was secretly established and kept secret, up to today, in autumn 2013. This file contains unedited takes from a SONY filed recorder, in some parts rumble and pops may be present and levels will be over saturated at flight noise peaks. This sound snippet belongs to https://edr401mvpanortheast.wordpress.com which is a website dedicated to educate residents and visitors alike about the grave implications that this huge military flight zone poses for one of last remaining wild spots of Germany, for its residents and its visitors. It aims to show what has been lost - by providing examples of what is now.
