Português: A Agência Brasil mostra a luta de Mirtes Renata Santana, mãe de Miguel, para um desfecho do caso. Ele morreu aos 5 anos de idade depois de cair de um prédio de luxo no centro do Recife. Sari Corte Real foi condenada a 8 anos e 6 meses de reclusão, mas recorre da decisão em liberdade.
A Agência Brasil conversou também com o professor Hugo Monteiro Ferreira, diretor do Instituto Menino Miguel, e com a educadora Mônica Oliveira, da rede de mulheres negras de Pernambuco, que dizem como o caso tem relação com o racismo no Brasil.
