Description3D-Reconstruction-of-VZV-Infected-Cell-Nuclei-and-PML-Nuclear-Cages-by-Serial-Section-Array-ppat.1002740.s012.ogv |
English: Corresponds to Figure 7F and G and shows animations of a tomographic reconstruction of a 300 nm section through a PML cage with sequestered VZV capsids. The video shows first the animated volume view of the tomogram revealing the arrangement and packaging of capsids, followed by an animated ortho-slice view (revealing views of cross-sections through the middle of the reconstructed volume). Then the stack of digital slices of the tomogram is shown in inverted mode (electron dense structures appear bright) and finally the same stack is shown in normal mode (electron dense structures appear dark). |
