Perhaps someone should point out that these colors view correctly when the sRGB color space is used on a calibrated monitor. IIRC the sRGB specification states that the white point is 6500K, and on the newer LCD monitors, this can be explicitly set. The OS/display driver can be told to use sRGB. As for calibration, there are plenty of websites with black/grey/white calibration patterns for brightness/contrast. 202.89.153.10 01:32, 3 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

GIMP palette[edit]

I used Pantone 280C as the Royal Blue as that is the one now being used in official circumstances. The darker one has been tagged "Royal Blue (old)" when one does need to use it. ButterStick 09:04, 5 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Revision 8592389[edit]

Colors have been taken from http://www.pantone.com/pages/pantone/colorfinder.aspx, the Pantone website. This obviates the need for an Adobe/Corel/etc choice. ButterStick 09:47, 18 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
