Java/Cortado[edit]

Shouldn't this page also mention that the Java/Cortado player can be used? I'm no expert on cross-platform matters, but I believe Java/Cortado would work on any platform mentioned at Commons:Media help, in which case it should probably be mentioned there. It is mentioned at Commons:Video#Playing videos, but I'm not sure that page is the first one to be consulted if one searches for help to play a video; after all, this page is labelled: "Help pages for playing media files on Commons". -- Michael Bednarek (talk) 07:29, 8 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I find this page to be completely confusing to any non-technical person. I wrote the section on Playing videos at Commons:Video, with the intention of keeping it simple for the laymen. I'll see if I can tweak the page to make it simpler although I'm hesitant on being too bold... mahanga (talk) 02:37, 20 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
