Guideline[edit]

I think this page has the potential to become a guideline. The essay seems to sufficiently document our consensus about point-illustrating, in my opinion. I'd like to hear your opinions, on what to add and remove before this can become a guideline. Thanks, pandakekok9 14:28, 19 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I don't have time to look at the details, but this is effectively how the admins already view things. Yes, it would be good to codify it. - Jmabel ! talk 17:05, 19 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Ambiguity[edit]

"do not try to run down that sysop." Does this mean "do not try to get in touch with that sysop", "do not try to insult that sysop's reputation", or something else I might not be thinking of? In any case, it should be clearer. "Run down" has too many meanings. - Jmabel ! talk 16:13, 3 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
