  •  Support The scope is a little narrow, but I think it is OK, and it is the best among the two photos we have of this tugboat. --Slaunger (talk) 22:15, 3 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Question Are we supposed to renominate all the candidates that bounced over the last few years on ground of too narrow scope? Have the criteria so much changed? Are the assessors less interested in thorough evaluations? I wonder... พ.s. 11:25, 4 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Comment Maybe I am misunderstanding, but this one has not been nominated for VIC before, has it? Or are you referring to the narrow scopes in general? Personally, I think a scope like this is very close to being too narrow, but not quite. Feel free to oppose if you think it is too narrow. Personally I have always thought there could be "very many VIs", the main objective being if hunting for VIs can give maximum diversity of subjects covered. I'd rather see a new image of a narrow scope than YAETP (Yet Another Eiffel Tower Photo).--Slaunger (talk) 11:47, 4 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
