- Promotion You already cropped background from the skull. Is there a special reason to leave the hard shadow? IMO it would be a good idea to get rid of it. --Cccefalon 00:57, 18 February 2015 (UTC) Of course you understand the shadow is on purpose, and is convenient with the real museum lighting. I let it for a use with another background. It gives more informations. Let's continue this discussion.--Jebulon 18:55, 18 February 2015 (UTC)
Good quality. As the shadow part is comparatively small, it might work with darker backgrounds and is ok for me. --Cccefalon 01:13, 19 February 2015 (UTC)

- Decline The mast is tilted Poco a poco 12:33, 14 February 2015 (UTC)
Comment The picture has been taken from below the mast at a very steep angle in order to have an even gray background (instead of the hillside). I don’t find the tilt confusing here. --Kreuzschnabel 13:56, 14 February 2015 (UTC) Oppose Sorry, I have to agree with Poco a poco. That just looks wrong to me. --El Grafo 16:35, 17 February 2015 (UTC)
Sorry for the late answer Kreuzschnabel, looks wrong to me also, but fixable with a tilt Poco a poco 21:56, 18 February 2015 (UTC)

- Support. Very good --PIERRE ANDRE LECLERCQ 16:16, 16 February 2015 (UTC)
- Oppose Oh my! Severe JPEG artifacts visible around the iron structure (see annotation). Colours oversaturated, image generally noisy. Main subject looks oversharpened (white seams around dark parts). Not a QI for me. And again: That does not mean the image isn’t "nice". It is nice but still shows poor quality. That’s what QI is about, it’s not "nice images" after all. --Kreuzschnabel 07:03, 17 February 2015 (UTC)
- Oppose Per Kreuzschnabel. Also, I think that the framing could have been greatly improved by moving a few steps to the right, centering the channel and having the sensor parallel to the guard railing (instead of almost parallel). --El Grafo 09:45, 17 February 2015 (UTC)
- Support Good quality. --Steindy 22:28, 17 February 2015 (UTC)

- Support Not blown (are you giving random judgments?). Every pixel is within the spectrum. Nice picture --Moroder 10:01, 16 February 2015 (UTC)
- Oppose Sorry guys, but quality is really on the poor side. Not only the red and blue channels are overexposed (this is a fact, not an opinion) but the detail is much affected by noise. Alvesgaspar 10:29, 16 February 2015 (UTC)

- Oppose - Overexposed sky, general low quality (blur on left, lack of fine sharpness elsewhere). Mattbuck 21:23, 16 February 2015 (UTC)
- Oppose per others. Nice scene yet poor technical quality (and that’s what QI is about). The poplar tree lost all its detail due to background overexposure and shows sharpening artifacts, so does the house to the left. Sky partly blown. --Kreuzschnabel 06:57, 17 February 2015 (UTC)
- Support Good quality. --Steindy 22:29, 17 February 2015 (UTC)

- Oppose lack of details --Christian Ferrer 13:40, 16 February 2015 (UTC)
- Support --Hubertl 00:13, 17 February 2015 (UTC)
- Oppose JPEG artifacts still visible but not as strong as in the other nominations of this subject, but here the red foliage on the house (see annotation) suffers from loss of detail (per Alvesgaspar). There is nothing but an anonymous mass of red, hardly any single leaves visible. I suppose the oversaturation caused a loss of information here that cannot be regained without the raw file. --Kreuzschnabel 09:26, 17 February 2015 (UTC)
- Support I don't see any „minor flaw“ (© Alvesgaspar). I see only a photo in good quality. QI is really a funny game... --Steindy 22:53, 17 February 2015 (UTC)
- Comment QIC is not a game at all, it is a forum where the quality of photos is assessed on the basis of technical criteria. For doing it properly one needs to have some knowledge, to support the reviews with sound technical arguments and to be intelectually honest. Apparently that is not your approach, as you go on voting in favour of poor quality nominations whith no valid justification either than an apparent regional cruzade. That is detrimental to QIC and to the project, and bad for your reputation. Alvesgaspar (talk)

Is it not slightly tilted?--PIERRE ANDRE LECLERCQ 16:46, 7 February 2015 (UTC)
The verticals appear to be vertical. Mattbuck 17:14, 8 February 2015 (UTC)
Comment Using the window frames as a reference is usually a good idea and as far as I cross checked, they are rectilinear. --Cccefalon 14:32, 13 February 2015 (UTC)
SupportGood quality. Promoted after the original reviewer didn't came back for one week. --Cccefalon 08:53, 14 February 2015 (UTC)* Oppose Please, see my note the roof is not horizontal--PIERRE ANDRE LECLERCQ 16:37, 14 February 2015 (UTC)
Yes, that is due to perspective. Just as pointing up or down generates perspective like \/ or /\, if you are not looking straight at something you generate perspectives like < or >. That does not mean the photo is tilted however, as tilt refers to the camera not being horizontal. Mattbuck 17:24, 14 February 2015 (UTC) * thank you Mattbuck for your reply --PIERRE ANDRE LECLERCQ 17:21, 15 February 2015 (UTC)
Hei Pierre, a total front view with parallel horizontal lines is not mandatory for QI. QI asks for rectilinear verticals. --Cccefalon 23:42, 14 February 2015 (UTC) - Neutral thank you Cccefalon for this info I did not know--PIERRE ANDRE LECLERCQ 17:02, 15 February 2015 (UTC)
- Welcome, Pierre. There is one addendum: Sometimes, when a buildings image is taken as exact front shot and the building is symetrical, it is correct to ask for parallel lines but in my personal opinion, this should not end up in pixel peeping because buildings and lenses are not always perfect :) --Cccefalon 09:49, 16 February 2015 (UTC)
- Thank you. Cccefalon I take note of this information --PIERRE ANDRE LECLERCQ 10:41, 16 February 2015 (UTC)

- Oppose Somewhat hazy. --Palauenc05 08:26, 13 February 2015 (UTC)
- Apparently there is some motion blur, but I cannot see haze (nor I can see something mentioned in image guidelines conserning haze). --C messier 15:16, 13 February 2015 (UTC)
- Palauenc05 I have no idea what you're referring to. It was a miserable day, so a bit of drizzle in the air I suppose. But it's far from hazy and is in no way opposeworthy. Mattbuck 23:08, 13 February 2015 (UTC)
- Oppose Insufficient DoF and/or unfavourably focused IMHO (even the flagpoles behind the hooded display are blurry while I’d expect at least the bridge to be still sharp), and yet the image looks oversharpened (for example, the tracks behind the platform end, or the letters on the display screens) --Kreuzschnabel 07:25, 14 February 2015 (UTC)
- Oppose Insufficient DoF --Livioandronico2013 20:23, 14 February 2015 (UTC)
