  • Nomination Range Rover Velar by Startech at Geneva International Motor Show 2018 --MB-one 16:39, 10 August 2020 (UTC)
  • Decline
  •  Oppose Poor image quality - taken through a speckled glass window. Would be better if taken from inside the store. --Tagooty 07:49, 11 August 2020 (UTC)
  • The only glass between the sensor and the subject was the lens. Please mark any defects you see. --MB-one 09:42, 11 August 2020 (UTC)
  • Out of focus per Cvmontuy. The reflections do not add to the composition, they distract from the car which is the main subject. Eg the whitish patch in the centre of the image looks like a dent in the body. A polarising filter would help. --Tagooty 15:54, 18 August 2020 (UTC)
  •  Oppose Not all the car is in focus --Cvmontuy 19:45, 15 August 2020 (UTC)
  •  Comment Not sure whether all the car needs to be in focus for QI, but it was definitely feasible. Doing a deeper analysis of the settings chosen here and assuming that the car was at a distance of approx 2 m, with f/5.6 the DoF was 1,35 m but only 0,88 of those 1,35 m are behind the focus. So, if the focus was on the back of the car, then 0,47 m (1,35 - 0,88) of focus were given away. Focusing a bit further would have brought a better DoF result gaining almost half a meter of focused area. Still, focusing on the back of the car and assuming that the car is about 2 m long the necessary f-number would have been f/9 to get 1,9 m of area in focus behind the focus point (and 0,76m before it). ISO was 800, which IMHO was a good choice, but the exposure time could have been a bit longer. A reduction of aperture from 5.6 -> 6.3 -> 7.1 -> 8.0 -> 9.0 could have been compensated with a shutter speed of 1/125 -> 1/100 -> 1/80 -> 1/60 -> 1/50. At 1/50 with 33 mm I wouldn't expect camera shake. Maybe this is a tipp for the next motor show :). I would support the image if the perspective correction is fixed --Poco a poco (talk) 07:05, 16 August 2020 (UTC)
