The Friends of Oaxacan Folk Art is a U.S. based non-profit organization of writers, historians, gallery owners, collectors and more who came together to promote the traditional handcrafts and folk art of the Mexican state of Oaxaca. Working closely with the Museo Estatal de Arte Popular de Oaxaca the organization sponsors sales and competitions in order support the next generations of Oaxacan artisans.
