Many files of 53 (according to Atlas) are already on commons, yet they are not assigned to this category, see search for "Theatrum Orbis Terrarum" (comment from category page 04:25, 26 November 2007 User:Matthead)

- Well said :-) Anyway, I'd like to alert others to what I perceive as misunderstanding. First Abraham Ortelius, then the Blaeu called their work Theatrum Orbis Terrarum. Different editions cause more confusion, and then maps sometimes depict a certain time span (in the past, obviously).
