A bit more concrete

It would be nice if the text patents are generally PD would be a bit more concrete. It would be nice to hear about details in other major countries like germany, france, japan or spain. Also which databases are legal freepatentsonline.com, patents.google.com or only orignal source like dpma.de?

I think as anybody know concrete example of artist who has demand the copyright for a patent or a patent drawing. In USA, where commons live, the publishing house have the copyright, and the publishing house of patents is a government office. haabet 18:22, 30 September 2007 (UTC)
