[edit]This category is a mess! People have mixed up house marks, badges and mason's marks. House marks are not marked on houses! It is another way of saying "the badge of the House of XXX". It is not an emblem that is inscribed onto a building. "Stonecutter" marks do not exist in English. That category should be re-named Mason's marks (as was mentioned a year ago on the talk page). Masons marks are no more heraldic than silver purity marks - that is to say, not at all. That category should be removed.
