English: Zoltek Zrt. (full name: Zoltek Vegyipari Zártkörűen Működő Részvénytársaság ie. Zoltek Chemical Private Limited Company). A precursor and carbon fiber manufacturer company based in Nyergesújfalu, Hungary. History: The predecessor company the Magyar Viscosa Rt. (Magyar Viscosa Joint stock company) established in on April 7, 1941. After WWII nationalized and renamed to Magyar Viscosagyár (Hungarian Viscosa Factory) in 1948. After political changes renamed to Magyar Viscosa Rt. in 1993. Privatized. It became the Hungarian branch of the St. Louis-based ZOLTEK Inc., the new name of the Company is ZOLTEK Magyar Viscosa Rt., which changed to ZOLTEK Vegyipari Részvénytársaság on October 21, 1997. Zoltek Chemical Private Limited Company (Zoltek Zrt.) its new name since 2006. The Zoltek Companies Inc. was acquired in 2014 by Tokyo-based Japanese company Toray Industries.
