English: The Tonopah and Tidewater Railroad (T&T) was a railroad in the Mojave Desert in California and Nevada. It was built in 1905–1906, began to shrink in 1933, and was out of service by 1940; scrapping and final abandonment ended in 1946. The railroad was co-owned and closely associated with the Pacific Coast Borax Company and its borax mining operations.
