Thomas F. Schneider (Erich Maria Remarque-Friedenszentrum, Universität Osnabrück)
Scholar of Literature, born 1960 in Osnabrück/Germany. He studied Communication/Esthetics – Literature, Art, and Philosophy. 1990 PhD in Literature with a thesis on the ballads of Annette von Droste-Hülshoff; 2001 Habilitation with a thesis on the genesis and reception of Erich Maria Remarque’s All Quiet on the Western Front. Since 2000 Thomas F. Schneider is director of the Erich Maria Remarque Peace Center/City and University of Osnabrück, and he is lecturer of German Literature at Osnabrück University and Universität der Bundeswehr Munich.
