English: Better known as the Messerschmitt Tiger, the "Tiger" name was patented by Krupp and the "Messerschmitt" name was no longer made available to Fritz Fend's car manufacturing concern after 1956 - so it was as the "FMR Tg500" that this iconic sporting microcar was marketed.
