English: Benjamin Brooke & Company was a Philadelphia-based firm in the 1870s-1880s owned by Sidney and Henry Gross producing and selling the Monkey Brand of scouring soap both in the U.S and the United Kingdom; acquired by Lever Brothers in January 1899; ceased to exist on 22 February 2000.
