| Description |
Deutsch: Das Stadtklima weist gegenüber dem Umland einen veränderten Wärme- und Wasserhaushalt sowie veränderte Windverhältnisse auf.
Als Folge dieser Veränderungen stellen sich in den Städten höhere Lufttemperaturen, mehr Niederschläge und Nebel sowie längere Vegetationsperiode ein. Demgegenüber sind die Global- und UV-Strahlung, die Luftfeuchte und Windgeschwindigkeit sowie die Zahl der Frosttage reduziert. Als Ursache für das veränderte Stadtklima gelten die hohe Bebauungsdichte und die starke Bodenversiegelung im Gegensatz zum überwiegend durch Vegetation geprägten Umland. Hinzu kommen die zahlreichen Abwärme- und Emissionsquellen in den Städten. |
