Description
English: The shot taken at the place in Kolhapur-my native place, where the world famous Jaggery is being made.Kolhapur is well known for Jaggery which is made from the sugar cane juice boiling for some time.The image shows this boiled sugar can juice poured in the big trays and cooled to make big cakes as seen on the back of the image.This Jaggery making is one of the old heritage of Kolhapur District and the Jaggery is distributed all over India where this has a big name.This process starts from October and lasts for six months every year.
