English: An engraving by Jean Benner, from a drawing done in the theatre, by Robert Cruikshank (1789–1856) of a scene from the opera An Agreeable Surprise, act 1, scene 1, by John O’Keeffe (libretto) and Samuel Arnold (music), showing the characters Lingo and Cowslip. Lingo is saying “My Sweet Cowslip, properly called Cowslip!”
