Summary[edit]

Description The biological part of a mechanical-biological sewage treatment plant. The rotor sprays pre-treated wastewater over a bed of gravel, with the gravel - overgrown with biofilm and colonized by billions of "hungry" bacteria - purifying the seeping water. After the biology, the cleaned wastewater then flows into a natural water body. Switzerland, August 13, 2022. (6/10)
