Українська: Наднова sn 2017gx в галактиці NGC 4964 (сузір'я Великої Ведмедиці), наднова помічена рисками. Це наднова типу Ia, тобто результат термоядерного вибуху у подвійній системі, в якій один з компонентів (вирогідно, білий карлик) перетягує речовину з другого компонента. В кінці кінців створюються умови для початку термоядерних реакцій і зірка (перший компонент) вибухає. Материнська галактика виглядає як невелика кометоподібна туманість. Яскравість наднової майже така, як повна яскравість цілої галактики. Поле зору = 20 кутових хвилин. Фотографія отримана за допомогою телескопа-рефлектора діаметром 150мм f/5 на екваторіальному монтуванні з трекінгом і цифрової дзеркальної камери. Київ.

The picture was taken using SkyWatcher 150/750 Newtonian on EQ5 mount with motor drives with Canon EOS600D as an imaging camera.
