| Description |
Magyar: A "Szentmihályi Szűzanya" szobrot 1908 augusztus végén Nagy Ferenc állította saját telkének lemetszett szegletén, a Rákosi út és a Mária utca sarkán. 1951-től az Orosházi család élt ott. 1953-ban ledöntötték de a házaspár pártfogásába vette, és ismét felállíttatta. Ezután 1964-ben, amikor szélesítették a Rákosi utat a szobor az út közepére került, ekkor ismét az ők mentették meg a szobrot, beemeltették és bebetonozták a saját kerítésükbe. Orosházi Marika néni 2008-ban egy székelykaput faragtatott Erdélyben Gyurka Istvánnal (Mikóújfalu) a szobor főlé, hogy védje az idő viszontagságaitól és új világítást tetetett fel, hogy a Szűzanya esti fényben is köszöntse a hazatérőket és a zarándokokat, világosságot gyújtson szívükben egy-egy fohászra.
2011-ben felkerült a Szűzanya szobor talapzatára a Mária-út m+ jele és a Mária Út felirat is. A szobor felirata: »Isten dicsőségére és Szűz Mária, Magyarország Patrónája tiszteletére emelte Nagy Ferencz«. |
