Summary[edit]

Description
English: field or, ribbon purpura, from the description of the original gifted to Himiko. The 7:10 ratio is taken from the earliest record of national flag proportions, which is significantly later than the color and design description, in which the proportion is missing from the original description. This flag remained in use in Nara until 806 A.D. and in Fusa until 829.
