Summary[edit]

Description
English: Sharp Optonica SA-2121H receiver (Euro market, made in 1978). Closeup of power amp board showing main reservoir capacitor and two sockets for TO-3 transistors. Just unscrew them, voila - board, heatsink and transistors neatly fall apart, no need to desolder. The capacitor, on the contrary, is PIA to remove. It's an unobtanium two-caps-in-one-can combination with as many as six lugs hard-soldered to the board. And, in addition, it doubles as a pedestal for the amp board, so any replacement must be exactly same height, or a custom replacement stand somehow added. What a nuisance.
