Nederlands: Herdenking slachtoffers Nazi's en welkom aan ministers Van Mook en Kerstens. "Er is een gruwelijke slachting aangericht onder onschuldige burgers. De vijand meent door een schrikbewind de volkeren te kunnen onderwerpen. Ik ben nog trotser dan tevoren Nederlander te zijn. Er is nauwere samenwerking gekomen tussen ons, Amerika en Engeland. De grondstoffen van Suriname worden beveiligd door de Ver. Staten. Met vertrouwen zie ik het ogenblik van onze vrijwording tegemoet, de hereniging van ons Rijk en zeg niet "alles zal reg kom", maar weet dat ik straks zeggen kan "alles is terecht gekomen". Ik begroet de uit Ned. Indie gekomen raadslieden de heren van Mook en Kerstens."
English: The collection of Broadcasts from Radio Oranje (Radio Orange) contains a selection of the radio broadcasts that were transmitted between 1940 and 1945. They were broadcasts created by the Dutch Government in exile in London, transmitted to encourage and inform the people of the Netherlands whilst under occupation. This digitized audio file is a so called semi-finished product. During digitization an attempt was made to get as much detail from the original source as possible. This can sometimes mean that there is still a need for post-production to get the best possible end-product for human consumption.
