Summary[edit]
DescriptionPontiac Mills, Warwick, RI - Building 8A.jpg |
English: An example of strange architecture in Pontiac Mills in Warwick, RI. A brick archway supporting a small enclosed tunnel in its upper half, running along one wall of the hollow ruins of Building 8, intersects abruptly with Building 8A before terminating at Building 21, just visible in the background. |

The archway and enclosed tunnel pictured begin at the back of Building 9, formerly the mill's boiler house, and appears to have carried a number of important steam pipes along its length and into the back of Building 21 where a steam engine or steam-powered generator is thought to have been prior to the mill's closing.
