| Description |
English: Culmos erectos o decumbentes. Vainas foliares a veces algo infladas. Lígulas de 3 a 5 mm de largo. Láminas de 6 a 12 cm de largo por 1 a 4 mm de ancho, glabras. Inflorescencia una panícula de 2 a 6 cm de largo por 1.5 a 3 cm de ancho, espiciforme, densa. Espiguillas una panícula de 2 a 6 cm de largo por 1.5 a 3 cm de ancho, espiciforme, densa. Glumas glumas delgadas, escabroso-pubescentes, primera gluma de 2 a 3 mm de largo, con una arista de 4 a 7 mm de largo; segunda gluma de 2 a 3 mm de largo, con una arista de 4 a 7 mm de largo. Lemas lema con una arista de 3 a 6 mm de largo. Paleas más cortas que las glumas. Cariópsis algo rugoso, de color café, ca 1 mm. Flor con anteras de 0.5 mm, cariópside oval de 1 mm de long |
