Summary[edit]

Description
  • English: Wilhelm von Plüschow (1852-1930), Portrait of a youth. Catalogue # 7587. On the reverse, agency print and two inscriptions by diffrerent hands, one with the model's name ("Pasc. Tagliensi", or "Tagliusi", the second one, confusing Plüschow's with Gloeden's work, reads: "Italy, a typical Sicilian peasant". However, this model appears in several images from Plüschow's period in Rome.
