English: Photograph taken by Pascal Sebah in Istanbul between 1863 and 1865, depicting Philipp Anton Dethier (1803-1881), with 8 objects (each numbered on the photograph) from his personal collection of mostly Ancient stone sculptures and reliefs.

Translation of the original french inscription : "Group for the History of Greek Art. Collection of Dr Dethier in Constantinople"

  • 1 : Head of a kouros from Perinthus, now in the collections of the Berlin State Museums (Antikensammlung inv. Sk 538)
  • 2 : Torso of a kouros from Perinthus, now in the Museum of Fine Arts of Budapest (inv. 8412)
  • 3 : Cast of the serpent head from the Serpent Column. The original serpent head is now in the Istanbul Archaeology Museum (inv. 18 M)
  • 4 : Cast of a fragment of the Amazonomachia frieze from the Mausoleum of Halicarnassos. The original fragment is now in the British Museum (nb 1017)
  • 7 : Statue of a naked youth, now in the collections of the Berlin State Museums (Antikensammlung inv. Sk 201)

  • 2 : Torse d'un kouros provenant de Périnthe, aujourd'hui conservé au musée des Beaux-Arts de Budapest (no d'inventaire 8412)
  • 3 : Moulage de la mâchoire supérieure d'une tête de serpent appartenant autrefois à la colonne serpentine. La tête originale est aujourd'hui exposée au musée archéologique d'Istanbul (inv. 18 M).
  • 4 : Moulage d'un fragment représentant une Amazone, provenant de la frise du combat des Amazones (ou Amazonomachie) du Mausolée d'Halicarnasse. L'original est aujourd'hui depuis 1879 au British Museum (British Museum 1017), photo ici
  • 7 : Statue d'un adolescent, aujourd'hui conservé dans les collections des musées d'État de Berlin (Antikensammlung inv. Sk 201)
