Summary[edit]

Description
English: The Paleoindians that lived near RIng Mountain and along the San Quentin Peninsula in Marin County, California had the ability to work with metal. They collected small pieces that were ejected during the eruption of a geothermal volcano. They used the heat from the volcanic vents in the caldera floor to remelt and reform metal pieces into the desired shapes.
