Deutsch: Meersburg, Neues Schloss, Fassadendetail der Stadtseite, Wappen Rodt; auch nach der Renovierung 2012 weiterhin in sehr fehlerhafter Farbgebung.
Die Felder des Familienwappens Rodt müssten heraldisch rechts rot-silber-rot (nicht gold-gold-gold) tingiert sein, heraldisch links gold mit Damaszierung (nicht: ein schwarzes Etwas in Gold). Als gutes Beispiel hätte das (früher ebenso scheußlich damaszierte, aber jetzt gut renovierte) Wappen an der Seeseite des Gebäudes (File:Meersburg Neues Schloss Seeseite Wappen.jpg oder das Wappen des Marquard Rudolf von Rodt am Haus gegenüber diesem Wappenrelief am Schlossplatz (File:Meersburg Schlossplatz Pfarrhof Wappen Marquard Rudolph von Rott 1700.jpg) dienen können. Dennoch hat man sich für diese geradezu absurde und jeglicher heraldischen Regel spottende Bemalung entschieden (bzw. diese nicht korrigiert), was es fragwürdig erscheinen lässt, ob hier wirklich eine denkmalgerechte, historisch informierte Renovierung durchgeführt wurde. |
