Summary[edit]

Description
English: New Zealand Railways. Publicity Branch, For growing greater! Wilson's Maltexo, ca 1935, Chromolithograph, 1015 x 755 mm, Printed Ephemera Collection, Alexander Turnbull Library, Reference: Eph-E-PHARMACY-1935-01

Another Railways Studios poster for a well-known dietary supplement, to raise bonny babies and children, a matter of pride for New Zealanders.
Once again the impact of this poster is in its simplicity and the child’s spontaneous pose; and his flesh tone colour is complementary to the blue background. The sight of the baby would be sure to warm the hearts of parents, and encourage them to buy the product.
