Date: 2011/06/30 and 2011/07/01 (Processing backlog of old images)

Exposure: 21 x 10m = 3 hour 30 minutes, ISO1600, f/2.8 Filter: Astronomik CLS Camera: Hutech-modified Canon T1i/500D Lens: Nikon 105mm f/2.5 AI-S Mount: Astro-Physics AP900

Guiding: ST-402 autoguider through TV-102iis guidescope, Maxim DL autoguiding software with 6-second guide exposures


Processing: Raw conversion and calibration with ImagesPlus; Aligning and combining with Registar. Final processing in Photoshop -- levels adjustment, cropping to 4752x3168 to remove ragged edges from alignment, JPEG conversion, etc.

Remarks: Temperature start/end = 60F/50F; Humidity start/end 39%/72%; SQM-L reading start/end = 21.45/21.37

Note the red halos around many of the stars -- maybe the focus was off? A later pic of the IC1318 area from the same night with the same lens and filter did not have this problem.
